You can have my flocking....I'm getting rid of it!
The only colour I'm keeping is the white 'cause it's good for "snow"....

My Cricut Imagine, HAD to have it, never used it. All the flocking and embossing powders I've ever bought. I-top doohicky and all the accessories that go with it. All the Smooch Spritz bottles, most of the Stickles, and eyelets and crop-a-dile. Also lets not forget 95% of the stamps and ribbon I've picked up along the way. I could go on but it's too depressing..

The Martha Stewart Cutting circle - I've used it, I hate it. I'm trying to justify just throwing it away.

On top of that it has a plastic cap that goes over the blade which I lost the first day so the blade is just exposed. Hate it.

Oh Henri... my MS circle cutter hates me. I cannot tell you how many times I have sliced the tip of my finger open with that little blade. And it is SHARP!

But I still use it all the time. I don't have many punches, and I haven't figured out how to center a cut on my cricut. So if I need to cut a circle and have it centered.... out comes my MS circle cutter.

Ok like everyone else I hate my fasinator that is the only thing I see on the list I don't use I still have my ek success circle cutter and my cm circle cutter and still pull them out occasionally.

Love my gypsy will be lost if it ever dies I use it all the time especially with the new CTMH cartridges that have so many images..I can't imagine trying to figure out what button with those.

I really think we should have a large yardsale on here but make it a free swap and all of us offer our stuff to each other

I don't like my Fiskars Ultra shape express or my Fiskars embossing system. It must be ME... because I adore all things Fiskars. Maybe these 2 things are hard on my arthritic fingers. On the other hand... Fiskars squeeze punches are the very best for folks with arthritis.

It's not just you...lots of people hate the fiskars shape thing. I love it for medium sized basic shapes that are too big for a punch when I don't want to drag out my cameo for a simple circle or rectangle. I also like it for crops.

I put my flocking powders in a rak. And, I have never used my cm hexie punch. It was SUCH a find ($3 at a garage sale) but I have not had occasion to use it.

Unlike my flock...which is sitting there, doing nothing!

The only bad thing about a swap is that most of us would end up with another Facinator...

Which is exactly the item I've not used either....along with neither of my two 9" & 2.5" Xyrons, which I also bought back-up rolls of replacement sticky-stuff. I've had it for about four years now....wonder if it's still good???

Agree! I don't have arthritis but a bit of De Quervain's tendinitis in my thumbs that I developed while pregnant and never really went away. I've got a couple big off brand punches I have to set on the floor and step on to use!

Yep - something called Perfect Layers (or something like that). I saw it used on HSN or QVC during one of their promotions and thought it was great. Bought it, and could never remember how it was used. I think I still have all the pieces!

I was afraid to use my Crop a dile II Big Bite. No, I wasn't afraid of getting bitten ;-) I just couldn't believe that I finally had one, and then I stayed away from eyelets for a long time...lol I also realized a long time ago that I like to take my time before I use my new stuff. If I buy a bottle of perfume I'm known to bring it home and not use it for weeks...lol I get really annoyed when someone grabs and uses it before I'm ready...hahahahaha.

For me it alcohol inks. I love the idea of them but I haven't found a good reason to use them. The sad thing is that I still think about buying more colors!

I have A LOT of stuff and I use most of it-- I do have a lot of stamps but most all have been used at least once. I have a TON of eyelets/brads etc... I buy them , use a few on the LO I bought them for and have the rest left over--Lots of flowers- reds and pinks mainly- buttons-- oh, my the buttons I have! Embossing powders, paints, embossing plates...
All in all I have used most of what I have on at least one card or LO but find it hard to use it all up

OH YOU GUYS!! Alcohol inks are so much fun!!

You can use them on an applicator to color metal pieces, glass pieces, plastic pieces, glossy paper. Change the color of the whole piece or just accent a section here or there.

You can use them to make cool backgrounds for cards/layouts, mats, or to punch out letters and shapes from.

You can use them to custom color dry glitter.

You can even paint with them! I have the Ranger paint palette, but you can use anything really. Place a few drops of different colors in each section and let the ink dry. I have an alcohol ink refillable pen, but you could also use the craft nibs. Anyway-I fill up the pen with blending solution (or dip the nibs in it, being sure to soak it). Then I use the pen to "wake up" the colors by running the pen through the dried up ink. Then apply it to your project!

The mixatives are waaayyy too cool as well!! The snow cap makes an awesome marble design and the metallics bring a pretty shimmer.

Hope I explained that right because they are SO much fun to use!! Just be sure to use them in a ventilated area and never put them in a spray bottle.

Isn't it funny....I use Perfect Pearls all the time!
I've used them to centre in a flower, put random dots along the edge of papers, to fill in on candles to make the flames, to dot a letter 'i' or 'j'.....
I love my Perfect Pearls....

I needed to make some room - so I placed things I dont use or use the least in a huge storage container .... inside that are perfect pearls, lots of diffrnet color distress inks, sizzix & TH dies, all the ribbon or sew ribbon things (never even been opened!) loads of doubles of TH trinkets, grunge paper, glassine paper & pockets, all my washi tape ... and lots of other odds & ends! Oh also ever small 1$ stamp I own & hav never even opened also! IDK what I will do with ALL this stuff -- I went nutso when I 1st got back into SB'ing ... only to find out Im not really a "scrapbooker" Im altered, mixed media ect! Ive not yet scrapped a page, nor do I desire to LoL Now show me a canvas, wonderful bottle, weird other trinkets and Im all artist it ... LoL!
I went through a few grand & boy do I regret alot of it!! I cant believe I got so much washi tape & dont even like it as much as I thought I did!!! Plus I got into the copic & spellbinder kick (sold out of all that) now I have the Spectrum markers & I do love these.

Chalks! I came across a drawer full of them yesterday and tried to use some in a paper piecing but it didn't work out. I can't bring myself to get rid if them even though the last time I used them was probably 2006. I told myself my dd would enjoy them (if I ever let her use them, lol). The good thing is they were all given to me for a dt so I didn't spend my own money on them.
I use my 2.5" xyron all the time now that I have a cameo. It beats liquid glue for titles. My refills are mostly from 2008 and they've been working fine. I love how hobby lobby incorporates a date into their price sticker so I have some idea how long stuff has been living in my home.
I also have tons of foam alpha stamps I have held on to. Again, I think dd would like to use them. I let her lose on my jewel container this summer and she used up over half of them so I know I will eventually hand over other things to her. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

You can paint with them....just add water with a paintbrush and paint with them like water colours....

Oh wow idk u could paint with the chalk :S Is that why I bought all these pebbles sets? I get stuff, dont use it right away & forget what I at that time NEEDED it for.

Oh, how many ink pads does a normal home have? I have all the distress colors - like 2 the permanent (I want more of the colors) Loads of Momento (spelling - but all I use is the black) then the hybrid platte?

I think what I'll do is make up a couple fun kits, write out or print out some tutorials & give them to Hospice for the cancer patients. They would make something for there loved ones when they were up & around ... when I stopped sb'ing years ago, all I didnt sell they got. I went for like 6 months a day or so a month to a office and created fun thing!

I did already send off 1 flat rate box filled with tools, embelishments & all types of goodies to a member here!

The perfect pearls just take a Popsicle stick and dump them into a bottle with ink and water and makes wonderful shiney spray.

I like to use flocking for small areas. In this title-page LO I used it for the mule's mane & tail and also for the exaggerated mustache on the miner. For flowers I sometimes use flocking for the center. It works good for a baby LO on ducks or teddy bears. It's not something I use all the time, but it adds "fun" to the occasional LO or card.

I love chalks. I keep small fluid chalks in a basket on top of my work table since I use them so often. I use them for distressing since they can be erased. I'm too klutzy to use ink for distressing, especially on almost-finished projects. I also have most of the Pebbles chalk collections and use them often for shading. Chalks are definitely one of my "have-to-have" items~Judy

I think the next time I;m gonna ink my edges and distress i;m gonna try my chalk instead. I mostly grab my ink pads but there are times i dont have the color i;m looking for so chalk would be perfect

maybe I;ll try the flocking again. what kind of glue do you use? I used diamond glaze

I wrote down the flocking, but not how I held it to the paper I have FlowerSoft glue, that I might have used, but I think I probably used a Perfect Medium pen for the small areas that I flocked. I've also seen suggestions to use Sakura's Glaze pens, then apply the flocking while the ink is wet, but I know that's not what I used.

I also use Glossy Accents for a lot of things, so maybe I used that with a soft brush to spread it out, but I love the Perfect Medium pens—which are getting hard to find. J's has them, but in a twin-pack, and one is black. They used to be two clear, with 1 end bullet & the other end brush. Now it's bullet or brush. Why does everything that works good have to be "upgraded" so it no longer works or can't even be found? Note to manufacturers: Leave stuff that works alone!

Oops...heart palpitations...OK...I'll climb down off my soapbox and get back to flocking~ After I load a bunch of flocking on, I gently push down on it, so it adheres well, wait a few minutes, then tap off the excess flocking to put back into the container. Then set the project aside so it can dry really well. After a day or so, it can be brushed to remove any loose pieces. Probably could use a heat gun (from a distance) to lessen drying time, but don't blow the flocking away or catch it on fire ~Judy

I never used my hexagon punch for 4 years until I saw everyone going gaga over them. I made this from scraps of a 6x6 pad

I have to get some I hear you can put it in in with ink and water and spray it on you lay outs!!!!! so cool!!!!

I do this with the white perfect pearls all the time. I use 50% rubbing alchol (helps it to dry faster). I keep a bottle on the top of my craft desk and a splat mat under my larger MM mat. I love making things shimmery. It's like the franks red hot sauce of my craft room. I put that XXXX on everything

I wonder, do you have to add a drop of glue or some kind of binder to the water/chalks mixture to keep chalks from dusting? I have many chalks that I don't use and this is such a great idea. thanks!

let me know about the binder. thanks!

You can use microglaze over the top of anything you have chalked to seal it. You can also use chalk enhancer instead of water. It keeps the colors more vibrant like when they are wet. I searched the store here for the enhancer and couldn't find it-- I got mine at my LSS before it closed. You might google it--

I haven't tried this yet I think you use them like water colors. After you color use a water and brush

Oh yes, my zutter that I HAD to have. I had all these great ideas I was going to do with it...and now I can't remember any of them. I don't even know if the thing works, but I got it on a good sb.com sale and it looks pretty on the shelf. ~Judy

Yep, the bind-it-all is what's taking up shelf space and collecting dust. Someday maybe I'll actually use it...or my daughter will inherit it and it can sit on her shelf. I even bought a bunch of extra wire binders for it in various colors. I'm good to go...just no time—or interest, for right now at least. ~Judy

I just used my Zutter last weekend to keep all of my computer websites and passwords (cryptically, of course)organized. Last Christmas our computer went kaput and I was at a loss for websites for several places. Not gunna happen again.

Read the first three pages and have to say we all have our little oddities on what we don't and won't use after we tried it or became intimidated by it. Or just left it alone after we got it.

Me I have a few things that I have but don't us, one is some stencils, alpha and shaped ones. I also have the Masks for using with the glimmer sprays. I have used my sprays on flowers and such but always forget about the masks in my organizer. I have a shape cutter as well, don't know where its at in my craftroom but its there. I have flocking powder I haven't touched. I also have another tool that came out years ago, can't recall the name at the moment, but used it a few times and it doesn't get used. I noticed that it takes me rearranging and moving stuff to find stuff and then use it for awhile and then I find new goodies and the old ones get pushed aside.
I like my fastentor although I don't use it that often. I love using it to attach ribbon to tags.
