I'm behind on love but will catch up!
I signed up for a lot of challenges this month!
I also am being an "angel" for another challenge, meaning I am taking the place of somebody who will be unable to fulfill their commitment.
I'm also hosting a challenge...AND I have DT work to complete.
So, it may take me a while but love will be given!
Artesha, I was laughing after I read your post. Anyways, I haven't yet picked pictures. There are way too many. But I will get it done. It's Diwali tomorrow so trying to get into the kitchen to make some sweets & snacks.
This labor is the dickens, but I have a feeling that the delivery is going to be smooth and beautiful! I get cornier and cornier by the day! LOL! Just need a couple things to "tweak" it:)I WILL give birth by Saturday! It's Terrific Tuesday, everyone:)
There are different mythological stories about why Diwali is celebrated. One story is of Lord Krishna killed a demon called Naraka. In North India, the story is of Lord Ram returning back to his kingdom after his exile & he killed the demon Ravana.
On Diwali, we get up at 4 a.m. or even earlier & our mother would apply oil on our heads & then we take a shower & wear new clothes. We burst fire crackers (fireworks). Some people pray to Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth. All together it is the good triumphing over evil.
