Me it's Glimmer Mists , border punches and bling of any kind ( swirls, rhinestones, pearls, skittles/dew drops etc)

If they are at a crop with me, they know I will have tons.

I always say " if it's not the right colour you can mist it"
I have a border punch you can use.....I usually bring 10 or more
and
" do you think it has enough Bling"

What are you known for?

Having lots of pages ready to mat and glue and leaving the crop with a lot done - being really well prepared for crops.

Gelidy - when I think of you what comes to mind is your incredible digi pages and the way you can manipulate the pictures and titles and the different effects you use to really make incredible pages. Your computer knowledge just blows me over. Also when I think of your work I think of the pages where you have done journaling and you writing talent is awesome. Those are the things that come to mind when I think of you and your scrapbooking.

Henri you are too kind. Thank you
My "traditional" scrapbooking always includes deco scissors. (So much so it is a joke amongst my critique group.) Unfortunately most pages also include an ex so I made the albums private to only "my friends". If anyone is interested, please send me a friend request.

I have not idea what my friends would say I am known for....maybe just using embellishments and diecuts etc...
Most of the women I scrap with are Creative Memories scrappers so what I do is sooo different to their pages....

When we go on our annual crop, I'm known for having just about anything you'd need....I take most of my scraproom with me!

My big bag of copics: I have almost all of the copics in addition to the big storage bag. They get tons of comments at every crop I attend.

Buttons: At the last crop, one of my friends kept tossing buttons at me that she wasn't going to use. I left with way more buttons than I came with, even though I used several while there. Score!

Anything messy - mists, inks, paints. If it can get hands dirty it must be mine.
That and for trying new techniques and products.

Buttons! Surprisingly though I don't use them much on layouts. I just love them in jars and little dishes all around my scraproom. For a while I was known for being "caught up" but then we took a bunch of trips and I got a new amazing camera and before I knew it I had pictures here, pictures there, pictures everywhere!!

Mists and inks and mediums.

When I go to a crop, I line them all up by color and I end up with a huge display of inks and mists on my table. Needless to say, I am also known for being very messy.

One of these days I'm going to have to try misting. Just haven't explored much in the way of inks and inking. Need to watch the videos "Thinking Inking" - think that is the one eveyone says is so good.

Acutally played with my TIm Holtz distress inks this week. I've got them but have just collected them. I am doing old brothel layouts from brothels we visited this summer and I wanted the journaling to be on paper that looked old and a bit crinkled so I used off white paper and distressed the entire pages and it really worked out well! Did that for the brothel we visited in Ketchikan Alaska and the one we visited in Idaho.

Awesome! I love my Distress inks. I use them so much that I don't think I could scrap without them! I also have the marker set, it is great for stamps.

I guess I never answered the original question. Since I scrap pretty regularly with traditional CM scrappers, I am known as the adventurous one, the one who uses, what did the CM consultant call it?..."contraband", aka non CM products. Made me giggle. They had never seen an ATG, or ever heard of Undu. or a Cuttlebug. And they are amazed at my collection of punches, as all they ever use is a corner-rounder. I shake my head...

Gelidy - I think it's the bite out of the iced lolly.

I'm known only for using up everybody's scraps. People don't throw away their scraps at a crop, they give them to me.

I love your penguin LO, Gelidy! I'm figuring the top rounded edge is deco-scissored. I have the same scissors, plus many others, but am always afraid to use them since everyone says they're passé...but I guess I don't see the difference between using them and an edge punch. Maybe that will be a 2013 resolution...start using my deco scissors. Your LO inspired me :>)

I only scrap with my daughter, but she (and Hubby) would probably say I'm known for having to buy whatever is available I don't buy a few favorite stickles...I own every color. Ditto with Liquid Pearls. Now I'm working on ink pads and fluid chalks, even though I seldom do stamping. I'm really thinking about starting a Copic collection, but knowing me, I wouldn't be content until I owned them all...and that would be expensive! And, would I ever actually use them? Probably not. I guess I'm a collector, not a scrapper ~Judy

Oh-and Judy-I think we all (scrappers) have a little bit of collector in us. It's part of the hobby. Some may have MORE of a need to collect than others, but that is a whole other issue

...speaking of which...has anyone used the Martha Stewart Crafters Clay? I noticed it on the J's site and it looks interesting, but wondered if anyone had tried using it, or any other clay, for embellishments? I'm going to go see if the sb store carries it~(Just what I need...something else to buy and collect!)~Judy

Oh no, sb does carry them and I want them all...and I don't even know if they work good, but the alphabet mold looks like fun!)

Glad you liked it, Manda. I ordered the Heirloom kit for my daughter and the Nature for me, plus got her the alphabet mold. Hope I didn't waste money on them. She wanted nesties for Christmas, but figured she needed something else to play with also (and hopefully she'll bring it all to my house to play with sometime!).~Judy

I have some of the clay too. It's so easy, it just seems wrong. I painted mine after they dried, but saw where easier if put drop of paint in when you mix it.

Ooh. That's a good idea! I'll have to try it. I sprayed one with mists and wasn't exactly the look I wanted, but it was ok. I think too much moisture. Mica would look good. I bet could dust with chalk maybe too.

Yep-your bows are GORGEOUS Holly!!

And the reason you're known for the spellbinders is not due to the amount you have, its for the beautiful things you make with them!!
