This challenge is set up to encourage you to use your Cricut and to show us what wonderful images are available on the Cricut cartridges. You may also use SCAL with your Cricut to cut images.

Sign ups close on June 1st- midnight CST

Please sign up for the challenge. Because we have so many projects each month I need to limit the participation to about 20 or so participants.
All cricut projects are welcome to be posted here by participants for sharing ..... but 3 (three) projects are required to "complete" the challenge.

June twist: birdcage, arrow, food item. Add one of these to your project for a chance to win a second RAK. MUST complete 3 projects but the twist only needs to be on one.

All projects MUST include something cut with your cricut .....please remember to let us know what cart you used!

At the end of the month (June 30th) there will be a random drawing for a RAK from all participants who have completed the challenge (3 projects). There will also be a drawing for an RAK for completing the challenge and including one twist.
If everyone that signs up submits at least ONE project I will give away a CRICUT CARTRIDGE.
PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU BELIEVE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE AT LEAST 1 PROJECT AS THE CRICUT CARTRIDGE RAK IS CONTINGENT ON 100% PARICIPATION

Remember to save this thread to your favorites for easy access. And please check in at least once a week so I know you are still playing.

I'm in.

I have a bluebird husband and wife who moved into the bluebird box we put up this spring. They are diligently building their home and family. So, I may be able to do this. I may have to buy a cart with a cage cut.

count me in,
Kelly we were watching a robin family on our front porch. It was so fun from the beginning of the nest to each of 3 eggs being layed, then hatched. One night we heard a commotion and dh went out to find a stray cat in the nest. The parents were never seen again and the next night we found the dead baby birds in the yard. We were all so sad.

That really stinks! You get a weird attachment to watching them and I was never a bird watcher before.

Thanks, Norma. That's really sweet. I'll let you know when I start working on it. With vacation and summer camp, it isn't the best time to buy a new cart.

Spent the day with my kids and grandkids, went to lunch, will have some cake here in a bit. Pretty uneventful!

The only thing that might get in the way would be an early labor.

Good morning! It's JUNE!

Thinking of you all Michelle! I have had teary eyes all morning....my cousin died in 2009! Her daughter Kelli graduated from high school last night. As Kelli sang The Star Spangled Banner, a wind blew through the stadium! What a moment!

Then her dad gave her a journal her Mom had started for her in 1995! Wow! We are blessed!

Have a great day!

Here is my first for the month. I had planned to use the bird cage and have a very pretty gilded cage ready to go but then failed to find a spot for it, at least on this L/O.

I used Cart, Tis the Season - for the ornaments, scroll for journaling, and titles.

Hey everyone. Just getting here to sign up for June. Hopefully I am in I plan to do some type of scrappin since I am limited in mobility...good excuse right? It may be later in the month before I start to post though.

Surgery went ok. Thanks for all who sent their prayers. It was a little scary right afterwards as I had lost all movement in my left leg. I ended up in the hospital longer than we thought and the doctors thought they might have to go back in and remove the implant because it might have been causing pressure on the spine. Luckily before we went in to the OR the next morning I got a little bit of movement in my toes and we decided to see what happened with time. I have regained most of my movement and am improving every day and am walking with a walker. I go back for a check up tomorrow. Healing from the implant itself seems to be going ok. Lots of pain but I expected that. Just didn't expect the leg thing. It's always something though!

It’s Funday Monday…..according to Kathie Lee and Hoda!

Melissa, I’m glad you all were able to have a joyous time together even though it was a bit sad too.

Lisa, glad you are healing although it sounds like you have had some scary moments too. So glad a second surgery was not necessary.

Have a great day ladies!

I finished one today. I think committing to gluing all the elements down takes me longer than it designing the page to begin with!

I used carts
Ornamental Iron - for the bird cage
Graphically Speaking - for the sign "handle with care"
Art Nouveau - the heron
A Child Year - for the jumbled cherish and precious

MMS. We are leaving for Florida this evening after DH gets home and all the animals are taken care of. It's not the greatest time to leave because we have a sick calf (just born this weekend) but DH has 4 brothers and 2 of them will definitely be around.

The trip is 1100 miles and should take about 18 hours driving. We're going to drive through the night so the boys can sleep. I'm going to drive as much as I can through the night since DH works today. I'm taking the laptop so I'll be staying CU with love and chatter.

Good morning! Happy Hump Day!

Kelly, have a safe trip!

Norma, how are you doing with the “moving” forward issue? I know you must be so ready to wrap up this move!

Is anyone else having issues with the comment button? It seems like when I hit it that it is not doing anything and I don’t even see the swirly thing. It seems to take forever to post the comment. Of course, my impatience gets in the way and I hit the button several times then when it finally posts there are three or four comments.

Here is a project that I have been working on. I tried to put these in a collage in Picasa to make commenting easier but couldn’t get it to work properly. When I put them in a college it ended up cutting off some of the project. So it is not necessary to comment on each one if you don’t want too.

I used Life’s a Beach for most of the items. However, my suns came from Create a Critter; the clouds are from Stand and Salute; and, Base Camp for the alphas. I used lots of stickles in various colors. The papers and some of the embellies are all from my stash. In the last photo, it was raining when I took the photo so I had to use my flash so the colors are off. The frames are all 97 cent ones from JoAnn’s. I really wanted white frames but couldn’t have find any here. TFL!

Heading back this morning-should stay and finish but I have a SCRAPBOOK CONVENTION to go to tomorrow!

Good morning!

NACU yet. BBL2CU

Not sure if any of you subscribe to the Cricut magazines or any of publications by Northridge Publications for that matter....June is the last month for print copies of their magazines. There will be a notice inside your magazine this month, if you have received it. I haven't received my mailing yet for June. I called mainly because I have had a terrible time getting my paper copies in the mail. And the lady there told me June would be the last month for a paper copy. Everything will be digital in July and you have the option of going to digital or picking up back copies to fulfill your subscription.

I don't get it on a regular basis but pick up ocassionally on at a sale price. It is pricey.

Where do you get all the time and energy to keep up with all you have going on??!? Organizing your schedule?

Will we see pictures of the new space? Or am I just reading the posts out of order and missed something. That tends to happen when I read from end to beginning rather than beginning to end.

I hope to get some commenting done today, but whew, it is hard keeping pace. Still loving all the ideas as well as hard work being done.

Birdcage and title are from Straight from the Nest.
Flowers, hearts and thought bubble were also cut on the Cricut, but I can't remember which cartridges I used.

I had a great time at the convention. Of course spent more money than I should have. I was so tired I didn't sleep well last night. I'm moving really slow this morning. I hope I pick up speed as the day goes on. I need to use some of the paper I got yesterday! No, I need to use up the tons of old paper I have before I start on the new----but I won't!

Good morning!

Agree with you Donna, I spent more than I should have and bought paper I did not need but boy did I have a good time doing it! I was a fun day with you and Utona and Terri. And guess what ladies, I got to meet Jarvae in real life. Sweet girl! She is not playing this month as she is busy moving into her new home. Hopefully we will see her back in July.

I REALLY need to clean my scrap room. Will get started today as I also want to re-organize and I am sure it will take me a week to do it.

I am behind but hope to get all caught up by the end of the day.

Happy scrapping,

Anna- thanks for the info on the NP pubs. I did subscribe to the Cricut magazine when there was a sale but will be stopping that now. I don't like the digital ones as much. I go back to the print ones too often and feel like if I need inspiration from the computer I have other free sources to use. I'm kind of old fashioned in the way that if I am reading or looking through a magazine I want it right there in my hand, with pages to turn. I don't know if that's the book lover/reader in me or what.

Well I need to go get busy!
