ACU

I'm on cleanup mode right now. Craft fair was yesterday- considering it was my very first one & many people weren't expecting scrapbooking stuff- it went okay - most of my customers (or interested parties) were before 1pm. The heat in the afternoon tho was awful. We kept rearranging, dropping a tarp on one side or the other chasing shade. I remembered to bring lots of water but not a salty snack & my electrolytes dropped- I got a headache & it hasn't gone away yet I've learned a lot tho. My friend who helped me thought 3 trial runs with the awning was ridiculous, but once we were there & setting up, she said I was VERY smart for having done that & was glad we did it. We got set up quickly without much of a problem. Also took down fairly quickly too. Preplanning paid off there. Salty snack is going on my list tho for any next outdoor event.

here's mine-

I've fallen for you By Fabricfrenzy

All the leaves were either stamped first on colored cardstock then die cut or were die cut first, then painted with the Viva Inka Gold Metallic rubs, let dry, then stamped.
The stamp set I used is by Heartfelt Creations- Open falling leaves and the matching Die cut set- Falling leaves

Here it is. I made the background from white cardstock using Distress reinkers and distress ink. I stamped the leaves using 2 different stamps and embossed "fall" in the title.

ACU

I sold cards mostly - had finished LO pages ready for pictures to sell, but no one bought any of those. I also advertised to have people sign up for classes. That was my goal more than sales- to have people sign up for classes & workshops. I'm hoping to have more commitments for that when I send out thank you post cards and emails. My headache went away after some rest & rebalancing my electrolytes.

DH came home this weekend- he's been at school at Ft Gordon (Augusta, GA) since 4 Sept. He'll graduate 4 Dec. Then he'll be done with school for awhile. Last year he was gone about 6mo worth & then the same this year. Makes it tough. We did all kinds of tasks this weekend- fixing a leak on the roof, working on the deck that the contractor we hired seems to have gone bankrupt & left, moved my work from home station upstairs to the office so it's not in my craft area...... and a lot more. Today was his birthday but he had to drive back- it's about a 7 hour drive from here. I quickly discovered that having my work area in my craft area made me not want to come back & do anything crafty. So it is now upstairs in the office & I'm not dreading coming back down to the basement to create. Made me clean up the office too- it was a catch all room. Took a load to Good Will too. Very freeing to clean things up.

Char that was a good idea to separate your work area from your craft area. I'm sorry you and your DH have to be apart too. I know what that feels like, as DH was working an 8 hour drive away from us when we first moved up to Northern CA from Southern. We had to deal with it for a couple of years, but I think it made us even stronger.

21 of 52: J my Son By Stopnstare07

Stamped and "fussy cut" the rocket and the 100% boy circle. I also stamped the date directly onto the lo.

Here's a fun one I added to my AGC no pic challenge. There are 7 different stamps - Pumpkin Patch, Ravens on tombstones, October, 31 and clock on tag, pumpkins, and "smashing" under it (accidentally covered it when I took pic to show tag and pumpkins for hidden journaling.

Thanks for the stamp challenge!!
