The Scrappy Supplies Hoarder, you know who you are! (And, be honest, we're all guilty of it at one time or another...) Do you have one or two (or more!) coveted papers or paper lines that you just can't cut into?! How about a pad of papers you haven't touched, but had to have? Do you have a special package of embellies you simply refuse to use? Well this challenge is for you! Your challenge is to step up, admit to your hoarded supplies and USE them!

*Rules*

Here's what to do to enter:

1. Bite the bullet and create a page, card or project with a supply item (or two, or three) that you've hoarded for at least a year. Your hoarded 'supply' could be anything - embellishment, paper, an old Cricut cartridge you bought, but never used.

2. Post your project here for us to cheer you and clap you on the back!

3. List or link the hoarded items you used with your post so we can go search our stash for them!

**Enter as many times and as often as you like, this is an open challenge with no sign-ups necessary!

** Optional Twist: (For bragging rights really...)***
I was feeling very unimaginative this month so let's not have a twist for November. Just see how many projects, pages, etc you can do this month!

Doreena you crack me up.
Sue - I know just what you mean - when I moved last year 1/2 of what I moved was scrap stuff I swear.

This is one of my fav los because I have so much stuff that even though I keep adding to my stash by the time I use it it's all old.

Sonia I love that you keep this one going.

The papers are MME "Meadowlark" and Colorbok "Nightingale" that have been in my stash a long time. The font is Prima "Printery" that's also been around a while.

Moxie and Pink Paislee papers, K&Co glittery die cuts and the Dusty Attic tree are part of the Halloween stuff I save from year to year.

I believe the last 3 layouts I have created all have hoarded items but I am too lazy to be a thread hog, errrr...I mean to upload them right now!
Hahahahahaah!

Hope all is well!

Finally getting a moment to check in and am SO jazzed to see all the new and returning faces here! Does my heart good to know someone (okay a lot of someones) like this challenge! And it helps knowing that km not the only hoarder out there!

Unfortunately I'm going to be kind of scarce this month. I was just moved temporarily to another office and the internet here is terrible! (I'm on my not-so-smartphone). So I won't get to CU as often as I like, but rest assured, I'm here and I LOVE seeing your work! Everyone is welcome and invited to join and compete with Doreena for thread hog queen title! U, Doreena!

OMG, Sonja! LOLOLOLOLOL!

I was actually just coming on here to say I feel bad for being a thread hog especially when sometimes my layouts only contain a couple of hoarded items, as opposed to LOTS of items, so I wasn't going to do that this time. I was just going to post if I had at least 50% of hoarded items on my layout...
BUT...after your comment, it's on!!!!

Well, I am cleaning out my stash, so I am going to submit another layout. This one uses some old Basic Grey for the background, and some very old Heidi Swapp photo corners from my stash.

Here is an entry for Hoarders: hoarded item(s) are the Christmas papers, these are from stacks I got a number of years ago. (The red papers are dcwv), the beige one I am not sure...it was a while ago.)

I've had the bgp and pic sitting out for months waiting for the right inspiration. Probably the only thing less than 5 years old used is my new Spellbinders die cut (and inks). I can safely say the ribbon is at least 20 (used it for decorations for friend's wedding).

Loved getting acu on this thread.

The hoarded items are:
The background paper at least 2-3 years old, the diecut page about 2 years old, the black and white paper and the green paper at least 3 years old, the stamp I used on the striped paper probably 10 years old, the word cut from paper at least 3 years old. The fern is pretty old too!

Realized I forgot to upload one. Peter Riedel wrote this postcard to DH grandfather - who was the Minister of War (Defense) for Colombia. A few months later the General also hosted the US Army Air Corp on their secret mission to test capability of the B-51 for long-distance travel!

Another one from me. This is all from my stash. The papers are old K&Company, I die cut the little envelope years ago when I first got the die, the butterflies were downloaded from Scraps of Darkness, and the doily was in the bottom of by embellie drawer.

Finally getting a chance to check in and I am WAY behind again! Ugh... sorry everyone!
I will get CU on love soon...

Lyn, I have that same Luxury stack... won it at a crop, but it is SO not me either! I keep meaning to list it as well as several other items on Junkyard Divas or evilbay, but just haven't gotten around to it... Perhaps I could earn a little holiday money if I did... LOL!

LOVE everyone's entries! I keep passing my scrappy stash and sighing, wishing I had the time to sit and play. Maybe this weekend??? In any case, keep it up everyone! LOVE the inspiration!

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't been around.
I have created some "hoarded item" layouts, but I have been so tired this month and I knew I would not be able to keep up w/ comments. I didn't want to be one of those people who just drops off layouts... I mean, after all, I've already been labled the "Thread Hog" didn't want to add "Drive-By Scrapper" to my list of nicknames! LOL!

Hopefully next month I'll be better able to participate!
Hope all is well w/ all of you!

Thought I would use red heart paper for wedding LO, but it was way too busy and so it sat for 5 years. I had to use my tiny frog punch to represent the Coqui, the "mascot" of Puerto Rico.
