You traveled here and you traveled there. Big super vacations and little jaunts right around home. Wherever you went I know you took pictures. But...
Have you scrapped them yet? Well now it is time and when you have those wonderful layouts done why here is a home for them.
Post them here - tell us all about your trip and come join us on ours too.

This is an easy and fun challenge.
Scrap your travel photos and share them here.

Each month there will be a theme or a twist and a small prize.

You can enter at any time - just post your lo here (be sure embedding is allowed).

You can share as many layouts as you like though you will only be entered once into the prize drawing.

Drawing will be held on the first of the month following.

MayTwist:

May started on a Thursday so let's do a Throw Back Thursday and get out your oldest product to use on your lo(s). Go for greatness and use your stash items that are at least a year old.

Have Fun! Happy Travels!

April winner is LauriD.

Just go with what works...old or new.

Now I just have to decide what I want to scrap.

You're reading my mind again, Mary! I have a short jaunty-type layout on my desk as we speak . . . complete with mules, no less! Guess that makes me in?!

I'm in again, just didn't have time to sign up before NSD. This was one of my first punches and DH bought me the WRM Doily set on Friday (in case I needed something new in a challenge). I'm so lucky!!!

Oops - pic is from trip last year.

For our anniversary last year, we had a getaway weekend planned. Our first stop was the Hukilau Café which was made famous by the movie "50 First Dates" (it does not look anything like the movie), and the TV show Man vs. Food. Older Echo Park paper and Colorbox diner paper:

Love the twist Mary! Goes right along with my Hoarders challenge! I actually have an entry for this month, including the twist, but will do another one! LOTS of old travels I want to scrap!

Here is mine. This was from a trip back to Corinth MS for DH's 50th high school reunion. The yellow paper is from early on in my scrapping - the green too. The Basic Grey items are several years old too.

I am also using this for the monthly sketch challenge. If that isn't allowed please let me know.

This is what I came up with! Thank you so much for inspiring me to dig into my vacation photos. Just what I needed. I almost forgot to mention that the BoBunny Zoology paper and embellishments are over a year old too. In fact, I think they may be over two years old.

I have been scrapping alot of my vacation photos from last year (I am a total chronological scrapper with little variation)
I used this twist on this layout all the paper is at least two years old little strip the the right of the photo is two the rest has been in my stash for at ~5 years I remember I got it in a SEI club kit and I have not been a member for 3-4 years.

Here are some more layouts. This one I used my twinkling H20's paint cakes on which I bought 3-4 years ago and never got around to using until now.

Lower Falls at Graveyard Fields By Cloverlady

This one does not follow the twist

I have had the stickers from this for 3-4 years

22/52: Rio Ruidoso By NMscrapper

Ruidoso, NM

The papers used are from Heartfelt Creations "Country Evening" collection, one of those things I just hated to cut into and have had forever. Also the Artisan Elements have been in my stash longer than the paper, because I just never found a place to use them.

Everything is a few years old! The pic was taken at Smithsonian when I had the privilege to be given access to the firearms archives, hold original Colt pistol and rifle handmade by Samuel Colt and given to distant cousin Gen Harney, and then tour to see additional items donated by the General's widow. I had my family tree pages tracing connection back to Timothy Harney. I did what every respectable heritage scrapper does - put it up against the display glass and took a picture!!!

Still struggling with how to do journaling!

Here is mine. I did this one last week. My trip was in 2001 and 2003 and all embellishments used are over 5 years old.

I have embedding enabled but can not find the code to post this.

Hi everyone! Did you think your hostess went traveling?
Wish I had ... but the reality is I have just not had much computer time at all... and then yesterday, when I vowed I would get all caught up I lost my internet.

Go figure.

I am loving the entries. You are awesome scrappers!

Joyblonde here is what to do:
go to your image in your gallery
Click on the button to the right of the lo that says Link
This will open a window that says
Embed This Image
and has two radio buttons
HTML CODE
and
IMG CODE
click on IMG CODE , choose the largest size
COPY the code that appears: in the box below COPY and PASTE (it should be a url)

Come to this thread, start a post and paste the code.
When you add your post your image will appear.

OOPS - I went to your layout and see that you have public embedding disabled. Here is how to fix that.
Go to your layout.

Under your description of the layout click on Edit this Image.
At the bottom of the section where you have entered information about the layout there is a box to check next to "Allow Public Embedding". Check that. Save your changes and then follow the directions above to post the layout.
