Yes, I think you're exactly right. Of the 3 butterflies I had on the test sheet I made, the only one it wouldn't cut is the one that looked like it had been pen-sketched. If the lines aren't completely connected, it doesn't read them as an outline. But what it does do, it does exceedingly well, so I'm happy!

Hi, Andrea. Good but busy weekend. 'Tis the season! We were out Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for holiday festivities with friends and the month has barely started! I have GOT to make time for some Christmas cards this week. DH is traveling on business for several days this week so maybe then . . . Have you got all of yours done yet?

Don i dont know what you mean by a b day swap. Do you want to do cards for each others b days? We have not done that but it would be fun.

Maybe it was on RSM, I'll check there.
Basically, there were 10 or 12 signed up and thru the year we would send to the birthdays of the month. Some months had no b'days, so no cards.

If every one is interested in this group we can do it here as well.

Let me know if you are interested in a birthday card swap.

I think a birthday swap would be a great idea and I'd love to participate!

Sign up by Jan., send b'date (not the year) & addy to the hostess who then pm's participants the info. Then each participant sends a card for that months B'day person(s).
Not every month will have a b'day, and some may have 2 or 3, just like every day life.

So, for example, Don, let's say we get a total of 6 participants. Then, each time one of the participants' birthday comes around the other 5 whose birthday it is *not* will each make and mail a card to the birthday girl/guy. Whoever is the coordinator of the swap (did I hear Andrea volunteer?) will be the keeper of all the birthday dates and addresses and will share them, via PM, with all of the participants. Am I understanding that correctly?

If that's all there is to it, I think it would be easy enough and fun! I'm in!

Claire yes. I would send a pm at the beginning with addresses and birthdays. I would also try and do a reminder but it is also the people in the swaps responsibility to check their list. I usually print mine out in these kinds of swaps.

right now a lot of are members have not been on so i would hope we all could be flexible and let others join for a few months.

Has any one heard from trish lately?

Andrea, I’m here!
Just haven’t been doing much lately.
Not doing and not buying (as much!)
I did get almost all the TH distress oxides tho!
They’re soooo pretty!

I’m in for the bday card thingy if it gets up and running.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey all!

I would love to join the birthday card swap but unfortunately it's not something I can commit to. There used to be a birthday card swap over at the swap section. This year was the first year it wasn't up but maybe someone will host it again for next year.

Andrea, do you ever watch Sandy Allnock on YouTube?
She is amazing.
I love watching her and I rarely color anything- it’s just fun to watch her cards come to life!
