Char - with all the re-organization you had going on and now canning and yard work it's no wonder you haven't had time to craft. I am sure as the summer winds down, you will hopefully find more leisure time.
showed the cards to all my girls at scrap day & talked to them about why I made them- they all loved the idea- maybe when I do my card workshop I'll ask them to make at least one card for sending... that would be cool - sending them out the next time I head towards town
Char, the more the merrier! that would be wonderful if you could enlist the help of your scrappin' girls to create cards for the kids. Again, thanks for your continued support. I know my DD and SIL appreciate your participation. And more than that, I know you are helping to bring a little happiness to a sick child.
here's 11 cards I've gotten done off & on this past week+ I still have more cuts yet to put on cards as I made a bunch of these animal cuts using the Artistry cart- honestly I was looking for a way to use the large stash of googly eyes I have
PLUS- I found that I never did mail the envelope in Feb like I had planned I thought I had, but it must of gotten missed when I gathered things up
I am working on some cards for the kids. I got several made last month and after I get my cards completed for this month I will get them mailed out.
I was going thru my papers and discovered some old baseball papers from back when my daughter was in college and had several friends on the school baseball team. So my theme this month is baseball cards since the season has started back up. I'm determined to use up that paper and eliminate one pile!
Anna, I know the kids and their parents appreciate the kindness of strangers. Where a sick child is concerned any and all smiles are priceless. Thanks for the time and effort you put into making your wonderful cards.
