Hi there! I'm getting into stamping and want to explore among so many different inks. I want my images to be smooth and solid. Which inks do you recommend?

I've heard good things about Altenew dye inks but they don't have a lot of colors. How about Hero Arts and StampingUp? Are those good quality inks?

The Stampin' Up inks are very good, of course as a SU demo I would say that, lol. Memento and Staz-On are also very good inks for stamping solid images.

Besides ink pads, try paints and modeling pastes.

Hi Don, can what kind of paints can you use on stamps? Can the stamps get damaged from the paint?

I just use acrylics because they clean up easy with just plain soap and water. The modeling paste can give you texture.

Another vote for Staz-On.

I like moment inks, Staz On, Prima is nice especially like the shape and I like tim Holtz inks. I would trust Hero Arts since Stamping is their business for a long time.

Memento and Hero Arts inks are some of my faves. But if you want them to be waterproof I would go for Stazon or Ranger Archival inks.
