I thought there was something posted a while back on what companies are no longer producing. (feel out of the loop here).
I can seem to find anything about Ki- Memories, which i loved and had much of at one time. I also ran across something online about Basic Gray no longer will be producing for scrapbooking. I can imagine that.

I think Making Memories is gone right? and I know Sassafrass lass is gone.

Depends how far back you are going...Rusty pickle, Arctic frog, daisy d
Creative Imaginations became splash of color and then closed
Basic grey stopped a few months ago
Those are the ones I can think of right now

Yes I saw this article. That's what prompt me to ask this question. I had been trying to research where the new Ki MEM products were and their blog was old. Plus I don't see Elsie F. Things anymore.

Martha Stewart stopped recently.
I think the industry is going through a transition period as the large companies are getting larger i.e. American Crafts buying Bazzil and WRMK to name a few.

Basic Grey is around they just want to do fabric...which I thought was interesting.

Honestly...I feel like Martha created the craft line while she was...away...n now she has no new ideas. That and she wasn't the crafter, her people were. Lmao!!!!

Just a suggestion; Martha Stewart punches are going up in value, but you can still find some bargains on eBay.

M's has a bunch of martha stewart punches on clearance. I'm not a big punch user but I may have to pick up some. Didn't realize she was getting out of the scrapping biz

Glad I have almost all the MS punches I want/like/need. You are right Lily I did notice that all MS things are on clearance at M's. Might be a good time to see if there are any of her punches that I missed still in stock.

I liked House of 3 although they were somewhat short-lived.

There are also companies that still exist, sort of, but have been changed forever due to buy-outs: I'm thinking Cosmo Cricket and 7Gypsies.

As for the many outfits swallowed up by AC there are some that I still like (Crate Paper is very different but I like it none the less) and some that have changed for the worse (Pink Paislee).

When I look at the list above, which is by no means complete, it makes me sad. As for October Afternoon, who knows indeed? If they're still in business they're being pretty quiet about it.

I didn't realize all those companies were no longer around...I loved Jellibean Soup and October Afternoon. I was surprised when I did hear about Basic Grey awhile back. Too bad some of these companies had awesome papers!

I actually owned an online retail stores years ago and I sold KI Memories, Arctic Frog, Chatterbox, Pink Paislee, Tinkering Ink,Fancy Pants, Basic Grey, and more. I believe none of these are around anymore. I still have some inventory I need to sell so if anyone knows something they are looking for let me know. I have stored these for years and it is just taking up space in my personal stuff now.

Studio Calico also stopped producing Scrapbook Kits, they have mostly steered their offerings toward planners and journals.
