Does anyone know if one can use Ecoline paints on stamps?

Somebody wrote a blog post about using ecoline brush markers with stamps. It seems to work if you spray the stamp with water after applying the color.

If you intend to use the ecoline ink, then I really see no reason why it wouldn't work with a stamp, it may be a bit difficult to get an even distribution of color on to the stamp though.

They are watercolor brushes. With a Misti type applicator, I would think one could do some fancy stamping.
I find if you just "huff" on the stamp after coloring, you will get enough moisture to get a good image. Spraying works, but over spraying can also cause quite the mess. I would use a very fine mist from 12" to 18" away.

I have the Ecoline in the jars. Sorting out crafts supplies found some nearly dried out mini stamp pads and dipping the end bit of a plastic spoon added some Ecoline to the ink pad.
