How do you store pieces of scrap cardstock? I have them separated by color and in bags but hard to get at them. Scrap pieces of patterned papers I just have all together in a drawer.

I have mine sorted like yours but I use the 12x12 sterlite drawers - one for each color.

Sorted by color in small Sterilite drawers. Anything too big to fit is big enough to be filed on the regular 12x12 shelf for that color.

Mine are in a large rectangle basket sorted by color. I can easily see what I have.

I have 2 Sterlite drawers for scraps. Solid colors in one, patterned paper in the other.

Here is how I store my scraps..... they reside under my work desk in the wooden box on wheels.

I used to have them by color/drawer in small plastic containers but at the new house I have them all together in a white sterilite 12 x 12 drawer

I saw a gal with a pile of scraps and a trimmer. She trimmed every thing to 4 X 5¼ for card fronts, and left overs to 2½ X 3½ for ATC's.
I cut the large scraps to 8" squares to make envies, and then to 3 X 4 for ATC's.

That's a good idea. I don't do that because I use large scraps for paper piecing projects as well. But it's a wonderful concept for those who exclusively make cards.

I used to use an accordion folder for each color 2 pockets - pattern paper and then the cardstock.

but now I keep it all in a 12X12 zip lock bad and just try to use it all the time.

It keeps everything in sight and i try to use it all the time.

If you keep them sorted by sizes, you can riff thru them.
I used to keep everything down to my smallest punch. Now I trim to predetermined sizes an toss everything left over. It's a hobby, don't stress over scraps of paper.

Just in a clear plastic bag intended for 12x12" paper. It's all sorted by colour, but nothing fancy.

First I cut any scraps that are large enough into 5 1/4 x 4 pieces for card mats, which I store by color. Then I trim the smaller pieces neatly and store them also by color.

I have 6 Sterilite 12x12 drawers. Small, medium, large scraps of cardstock, then small, medium, large scraps of pp. I'm a little overloaded on small cardstock scraps right now, though. Gonna have to purge a little.
