I really like having the inspiration that comes from the challenges here… and sometimes it is the REALLY random ones that help. I also like to see what other people do with the same challenge. I really enjoy the Anything Goes Challenge (I even got to help in June and guest host in July). AGC is taking a break… but I like the daily inspiration! SOOOO… for the month of March I am once again doing a Daily Inspiration Challenge. You do not have to officially sign up… just join in when and if you can. You do NOT have to post on the exact day… you don’t have to do all… you don’t have to do ANY… just come be inspired have fun!

*** I am working full time, mom of a 3 and almost 5 year old and taking 7 credit hours in a completely online program for my Masters in Library! Be patient with me! ***
I so much loved what my prompts did for inspiring great projects I just had to keep going! Maybe … JUST maybe I can scrapbook during spring break! LOL!~

Each day/week I will post a prompt(s) to get us thinking outside the box… I think this challenge works best for LO and cards… but any projects are welcome (yes, digital too!). I will probably post each challenge the night before. (I may even post a couple ahead of time the week school starts… I work as a library/ tech aide in an elementary school). This month since I am three months into my masters program… I will probably post a few at a time so I don’t get too far behind. Also… I am not even going to ATTEMPT to pick weekly “winners”, however please if you post make sure you visit a couple of the other participants LO and leave some love! No better prize than having someone admire your work!

March 1 - National Doodle Day - Include some sort of doodle on your project.

March 2 - Old Stuff Day - Use something REALLY old from your stash! (Don’t forget to tell us what it is: paper, stickers, …)

March 3 - National Anthem Day - Use Red, White, and Blue and/or use words from the National Anthem on your project.

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

For Day 2: Old. The drama paper is from when my daughter was in HS....she's been out for 9 years. The glitter die cut letters are even older.

Thanks for the update! I am going on a scrap retreat next weekend and trying to pack up projects since there's no way I can take my entire stash! Probably won't do any actual scrapping this week- just prep work.

For 3/2, I used papers and stickers from a really old SEI kit that I bought at a Scrapbook Expo and then tucked away in my stash. They have waited, unused, for over 10 years, so thanks for inspiring me to look for something old!

This one for 3/13 - sparkly I used sequins (not my usual go to embellie) for some bling. I like the way the gold sequins bring out the gold in the pictures

For 3/9, Genealogy Day, I created my own family tree by combining a card with a tree on it plus the word family, ergo, a family tree! And my layout is all about family, so I figured no one would object.

Lisa, you are whipping through these challenges! I'm going at a much slower pace, but here's another one. For Mardi Gras, I used several shades of purple on my layout, so hopefully one of them is royal purple!

I went to a scrap retreat last weekend- so I got way more than normal done and I had made kits before going so that sped things along even more. I had this past Friday off as well.
