Welcome to the July 2019 Use Your Stamps Challenge

For the next two months I am going to be the temporary host - while Charcat takes a break from it - so as to keep the challenge going until she will return in September.

For these two months, the challenge will be for sharing purposes only. THERE WILL BE NO RAK AND NO NUMBER REQUIREMENTS OR OFFICIAL COUNTING OF PROJECTS. There will also be NO TWISTS involved.

You'll still want to allow embedding on your projects since they will featured in the second post of this forum. This should make for easier access for participants to leave some gallery love on the projects. Let me know if I miss someone's project while I'm doing this. I am not a seasoned host by any means, and it is quite possible it could happen inadvertently.

As always, all stamp projects are welcome – layouts, cards, tags, canvas, other crafts- but please only those you have completed in July. Since we are starting late this month, projects that you've already completed this month, can also be shared.

All projects MUST include something STAMPED using: acrylic, rubber, a carved potato, wine cork, metal, bubble wrap- ANYTHING you can “stamp” with onto a project counts. Basically- you put ink (or paint) on it then press it onto your project- it counts as being stamped. This includes heat embossing but not pressed embossing such as the Cuttlebug or BigShot, etc. UNLESS you have inked it & used it to “stamp” the ink onto your project.

PLEASE TELL US WHAT YOU STAMPED on your project when you post as a photo sometimes makes it hard to tell.

Remember to save this thread to your favorites for easy access.
Please CHECK IN at least once a week so I know you are still playing.

LINKING LAYOUTS TO THE THREAD:
1. Go to the layout in your gallery.
2. On the right-hand side under the small icons of your gallery, click on ‘Link'.
3. When the pop up window opens, click on 'IMG code' button. Choose a larger size if you’d like.
4. Copy and paste the code which starts [url...] into the forum thread.

ALLOWING PUBLIC EMBEDDING:
1. Go to the layout in your gallery.
2. Click on 'Edit Image' tab at the top on the left side of the layout.
3. Scroll down to the bottom left side.
4. Check the box that says, ‘Allow Public Embedding’.
+you can also check the box at the time you upload as well & save having to edit.

I expect to be pretty crazy busy these months, but it is a such a fun challenge that I figured we should keep interest going in it. Thank you, Ro for playing.

For my first two cards, I stamped the sentiments only.

Glad you're taking over this month so Char can get a break, Katie! Here's my first stamped layout for July. I stamped the subtitle using a circle alphabet stamp.

For this one I stamped only the sentiment:

For this one, I stamped the sentiment and a dotted circle on the scalloped circle that peeks out a bit anyway:

Glad we are still producing some great stamped projects... summer being so busy for most of us I'm sure. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful work here!

Our busy time at work just started yesterday. I'll try to stay caught up but don't get too worried if I do disappear for a bit.... So far, so good though, but if yesterday was any indication, it is going to be a bit rougher and more chaotic and tiring than some years.... Ebbs and flows I guess.
