Did anyone else snag this from QVC a couple weeks ago? I'm having so much fun with mine. I'm making Valentine's Day cards and the metallic writing just makes it look so classy. It's easy to use and I'm very happy with the results.
No, the set comes with a glue pen and several sheets of different colored foils. You use the pen to write what you want on your layout, let it dry throroughly then put the foil down on top of the glue metallic side up and rub. The foil adheres to the glue and you just peel it off. You can use the foil over and over till all the foil is used up. Neato mosquitoe.
I have this as well. I got it from QVC about a year ago. I love it. At your local craft store you can buy foil glue and use the foil on just about anything. And you don't have to wait for the foil glue to dry. I love it. It's the neatest invention.
I saw this on QVC and thought it was neat, but I didn't buy it. I have now seen it at 2 LSS and I always debate about getting it. Sounds like you guys are having a good time with it, so maybe I should just finally get it.
Yes. Tsukineko makes a glue stamp pad, and I'm sure others do too.
You could also use a glue pen to highlight certain areas of a stamp.
I got my kit at the fair 5 or 6 years ago.
