I found, " Pebbles in my pocket", it's a ways away from me but I think I could find it again on my own. friday sounds good to me also but not this week, next week would be better for me if they still have openings.
heres the address 7650 W. Sahara #201, it was easy to find, of course my husband was driving and I suppose when I drive to it I will get lost since I don't like driving in Vegas, to many crazy drivers.
I'm not sure what we would be doing that night but at least we will get to meet and maybe next time we can plan on another location.
It looks like I won't be able to go after all, my tags expired, my parents send our mail down every week and they didn't come this week. We are not Nevada residents, that's why our mail is sent to us everyweek.
I've got another question, I tried posting some of my LO's and I can't seem to get them any bigger. It's hard to explain what I'm talking about but if you would check out my postings you'll understand and maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
July 3rd we're heading out for a family road trip. We'll be gone for about 2 weeks. We're heading up to Indianapolis for my brother in laws wedding, and then to Michigan to see my grandparents. It's over 1800 miles one way... I hope I don't go nuts!
I want to go on a vacation too, anywhere would be great just so long as it's away from Vegas. I'm into genealogy also, so going back East would give me the opportunity to look into cemeteries where my ancestors are buried. I belong to a site called
findagrave.com, its people helping people find their ancestors graves. If your into genealogy this is a great place to check out. I made 2 genealogy scrapbooks for my parents for last christmas now I'm filling 2 3-ring binders full of info on the relativesl. While your back visiting family don't forget to ask questions because some day you will wished you had.
i know my mom had a hard time with my dad grandparnts because they die and my mom didn't know some of the people in the pictures. well hope everyone has a nice thrisday. i am going on a little trip next thrisday to my parents river house on colorado river
sorry I haven't been too chatty lately. This morning/all day sickness is a killer. I can't wait till it lets up, and I am so dog tired I can barely stay awake. I have been getting some scrapping done but I'm still camera-less and can't post pics of my layouts I don't know how much longer I can stand not having a camera!
Hi girls, I've been reading the posts and thought that maybe some of you would like to join a scrapbooking group, I'm in 3 groups, but one is very active, fun and friendly. We do crops at Michael's, Scrappin Time, and the organizers home. She is also a Stampin Up demonstrator, she has challenges, and swaps. We get together once a month to just crop, and other times she has classes for various stuff. It's a great group been in for about a year and a half. If you're interested go into Meetup.com scrapbooking. The active one is called Las Vegas Scrapbooking group, the other two are still alittle new so not much going on but if your interested they are called Memories in the making group and NW Scrapbooking group. All three groups you will find in the meetup.com site. Good luck to all, and hope to see some of you in the group if you decide to join.

I attended some scrapbooking classes at Julie Jane before and at J's. But, lately I've been doing it alone at home. Anyway, my name is Candy Nicolas and stay at home mom of a 20mos. old boy.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I posted. I did go to the crop I told you about on June 2nd. I completed 33 pages! I can't believe it, that is the most I have ever done in one sitting. Welcome Candy. Craig and Losee is not too far from me (I don't think so anyways). I'm over at Stewart and Nellis. Maybe we can get together to scrap. I usually scrap at home, but if I know I'm scrapping somewhere else I prepare myself in advance. Have a good weekend everyone.
sorry i haven't been on my computer was have troubble but now i am back. i am think about doing some projects fro christmas with scrapbooking. if any of you want to do a scrapbook get toghter lets pick a day and place.
Hi ladies, I need to ask whose of you who live in the Vegas area for some help. I am from PA and we are planning on moving to Vegas in a month or two. I need to know about the areas where you all live...like what area is better, which to stay away from, what are the schools like there, what do the utilities run about there...things like that. If any of you can please pm me w/some info like that I would much appreciate it. This is our first big move for us. Thank you!
well utilities run little high i guess it would depond on if you stay home because the summer time it gets hot hot out here and you need the a/c on. well best place to move i would say north west are of vegas. where i live it is nice area. i think you should come out here on a little vcation and check out some house or other stuff before you move out here. i don't know much about the school seen i don't have any kids. i hope that help you and if you need any help just ask.
Looking forward to meeting some of you Vegas ladies at this event!

I was thinking about it, but I already had plans to go to Laughlin, NV. I tried to cancel my Laughlin plans, to no avail. I had the opportunity to go to CKC this past weekend. It was pretty cool. Can't wait until next year, we are going to try to attend the one in Seattle, WA. Really do hope to meet some of you soon.
