SHCG: Great photo! I like the negative space, but... I feel like the yellow in the LR corner is lost. Seems like it should be brought up with the rest of the grouping. I'm going to jump on the mat bandwagon too; this page feels flat and it's such an awesome photo I'd like to see it double if not triple matted with very thin mats (taking colors from the plaid pp).
SHCG: My first thoughts are what a great photo and such warm colors. I am a little confused by the things behind the photo and find them distracting. SHCG is famous for the "mat your photo" feedback but I think it really applies here. A solid mat or even carrying strips of the pattern around the photo would have better "framed the photo". And I find the one photo anchor at the top of the photo distracting. These comment are just "food for thought" for next time.
SHCG: I love the colors in this and the journaling tells a great story. I do agree there is something missing. Maybe a decorative ribbon vertical on the page, possibly running under the photo, would help fill some of the space.
SHCG - Beautiful pic & journaling. Very nice choice of soft colors & elements; they work so well w/ the lovely sentiment you're conveying. The yellow adds pizazz but softly, which is great. Small change but I'd move the white photo turns a little more to the sides of the photo (like a third of the way from the photo edge) so they're not so close to the photo center. Just think it would be more visually interesting that way. Such a sweet LO! Excellent work.
SHCG: this is so darn sweet. I love the way you added the scallops on the photo, my only suggestion would be to outline the edges of all the yellow to make it stand out more from the pink. :)
shcg: very sweet. The colors work wonderfully. I'd move the yellow block up some to engage it with the other parts of the LO. It feels like it's in it's own little world down there by itself. Also, I'd think about moving the top photo turn more to the left.
SHCG: Love that photo and the journaling! I would mat the photo in white/off white to make it stand out a bit more. Also the yellow journaling block is so lonely there-I would move it up closer to the photo, even tuck one end under the photo.
SHCG: You truly captured a special squeeze here and the bond between them. I like all the layering and different edges to each of the elements. The journaling is simple, yet says a lot. I feel there is a lot of yellow, though, and would like to see the special moments piece in another color picked up from your plaid pp strip, maybe green. I also feel that the same piece being separated from your main group detracts from your subject and I'd suggest moving it up so that it overlaps the grandma strip to unite all of your elements. I think that will also make the visual triangle among your brads more noticeable.
