I had so much fun playing with paper to make these vintage style handmade roses for this card.
I stamped out some card stock with a Heidi Swapp Script background stamp, and I die cut out a bunch of flowers that I then inked with some Distress Inks and then used an embossing tool and a bit of water to shape. I layered 3-7 flowers together to create each rose.
The magic really happened when I added a super light coating of texture paste to some of the petal edges, also added extra fine glitter, and some chunky Diamond Dust (real glass shavings). All this texture, shimmer and sparkle made these 3 D roses really pop.
In the background I added flourish and leaf dies that I also inked as well as some Memory Box Chrysanthemum Corner die cuts to finish off the corners of the card base.
