This is one of my entries for the Happy Birthday category of the August Card Challenge. I used a stamped image by Northwoods and then colored it lightly with Prismacolor colored pencils. I old fashioned crimped the lighter background paper and then inked it. I used an embossing folder on the darker paper and applied ink right to one side of the folder and then embossed as usual to create more defined lines. The ribbon is a paper ribbon I found at work and took home to make cards with. The banner was die cut with a Taylored Expressions nesting banner set. The sentiment is by a local stamp company called Send U My Love.
