I am a newbie here. I want to learn to scrapbook. I am enjoying looking at your work in particular mostly because I am interested in doing something with a lot of our family photo's along the lines of genealogy, genealogy charts and scrapbooking all mixed together. So I was looking at your work with great interest because it is giving me some great ideas in that direction. I hope that you don't mind. Your pages are just beautiful. I know that when I get started, (whenever that is) that mine won't be nearly as nice as yours, but at least I will give it a whirl and see what I can come up with. We all need to start somewhere I guess. I just need to figure out where to start now.
Oh, because I am new, in leaving comments, I don't know for sure the proper etiquette on this site and if it is o.k. to ask this question, so feel free not to answer if it is a no, no. I noticed on one of your lay outs that you had a picture of Utah Lake, I happen to live in Utah, in fact I live in South Jordan. I was wondering if you still live in Utah? If so, nice to meet you neighbor!
Anyway, Thanks for sharing!!! Renee
OMG - this is fantastic - love the pictures and the goodies you used. Seeing the person on horseback made me think about how on our local news yesterday they were talking about this young man in our area that is riding his horse to school because gas is so expensive - who knows, people may go back to the "good ole days"???? (LOL) :>)
John Mogck, brother of my grandpa "Shorty" Mogck. What a snapshot of "a day in the life in the American Midwest". I love the old service station. The people are all dressed up, the little family is walking away together and the group of people standing n the street talking; makes me think this could be Sunday after church or maybe a community event like a holiday parade or something like that.
