Part of my "I love my Mum" birthday series. :) (She turns 80 on August 13!) My mum always says she was frumpy...I just do NOT get this...I mean, every photo I see of her tells me a different story...that she was beautiful (and still is!). She is also brave, coming alone to the USA at 23 to make a new life as a secretary in NYC! I love these portrait photos of her at 22 (she hates them!) and think she looks so English! She always reminded me of Deborah Kerr (remember the lady in an "Affair to Remember"?)

This is some of that stitched paper...love it! Just made some simple, stacked roses to go with it.
