It isn't easy being beautiful

Love it, I have some of the same pictures.

I love the paper it's so beautiful. I agree about it needing something in the upper right hand corner. I think Kathy's idea about popping a rose out with a glue dot would be perfect! I really really love the pictures. Could they be any cuter? Hugs! Heather

Love the layout, and the pics r adorable. I think some journaling is in order...I look at this pic and want to know..what where they doing...special occasiion? fun? did they get it mama's stuff?

Hi Jen! Thanks for your HI to the new group! I see you're from NY -- not Staten Island, by any chance? -- that's where I'm originally from - now down here in the South y'all -- Virginia. I love this layout! I really like the stitching and the lettering. And of course the photos - especially the younger one with her hair around those HUGE rollers - are you're sure you're not from Staten Island - we had BIG hair there in the 80s and those rollers look awfully suspicious....... hmm.. I think it does need something else in the top right - maybe a combination of what everyone else suggested - maybe a rose that opens to hidden journaling - oh or a popped up rose with more of the brown ink on it to balance the brown on the "it isn't easy being" part and then a tag with the same brown tie from the B describing when your sister watched the girls. Just some thoughts. Really love the idea and the paper. Thanks. Maureen

very cool idea Kathy , Well I love roses and those girls in the curlers are very cute.. the sewing is always a great touch..A tag, a popped rose or another pic in the upper corner may look very cool.. I also love the monogram and the circle letters... great layout!!

Wow, this is a great LO. I don't know if you have more of the rose paper but what might be cute is to cut out one of the roses and pop-dot it on top of the rose in the right corner. I love the look of the strip going down the side and the way you did "beautiful".
