My favorite part of our Disneyland trip, was watching you Ty, go through the Jedi Training Academy. You love everything to do with Star Wars so of course you were very excited to see the tail end of the academy training as we ventured in to Tomorrowland. You were so excited that we immediately decided to stake out a close spot and wait for the next performance in the hope that you would be chosen to participate. You (and we) were thrilled when you were! You walked up and got dressed and had a lot of fun learning the correct way to handle your lightsaber while listening to the directions of your trainers. I wondered if you would be a little bit scared when Darth Vader and Maul showed up, but you went right up to the front and took on your opponent fearlessly. Afterwards
you smiled and waved to the
crowd as they handed out
your diplomas. We could
see that this event
really made you happy
Ty, and seeing you so
happy made us happy too!
