My littlest of my three dogs--Trinka. She was a little under a pound when we got her. Isn't she darling? This is an old page, so, not as good as a lot of what I do now. The poem is one of my favorites, and reads:
You can't buy loyalty, the say
I bought it, though, the other day
You can't buy friendship tried and true-
But just the same, I bought that too.
I made my bid and on the spot
Bought love and friendship and a whold job lot
Of happiness and all in all
The purchase price was pretty small
If you think these thngs are not for sale
Buy a brown eyes puppy with a wagging tail.
I'm not a big fan of my own penmanship, but, think it's part of the 'memories' thing in itself. I want my grandkids, when they're looking at these albums, to know that they're reading my own handwritten words from time to time. Therefore, even though it's not the prettiest, you'll see my own handwriting frequently in my pages.
