isn't it a flock? Those are REALLY cool turkeys... I'd like to make them with my boys if I knew how... hint hint....
Yesterday we made a turkey made out of fruit!
I looked it up, turkeys come in a HERD, Minnesota is the leading producer of turkey in the USA so I felt obligated to know. At the thanksgiving season alone Minnesota produces 46 million turkeys, a baby turkey is a poult. Turkey are native to the US and the English came here and got six of them (wild) and took them home to start a production over there.
I have no idea, but great pic! I had to laugh at the crow one--I just watched The Birds (and the ending cut off so I just saw them drive away from the house).
I cheated, i looked on the internet, some people said a 'bunch of birds' :'high school' ' thanksgiving dinners', a popular choice was a 'rafter'. i did find the right answer but as i'm the first i won't say. But that is a good bunch of birds there on that notice board.
Turkey bulletin board courtesy of our 4th grade class. What do you call a group of turkeys??? I know that you can have a gaggle of geese, a bevy of quail, a brood of hens, a murder of crows, a company of parrots......the list goes on and on....But who can tell me what you call a group of turkeys? (Answer to be posted on Friday.)
