We bought a camper this spring and this is the layout I did for the day we picked it up and brought it home. This layout is way out of my box, so comments are much appreciated!

I got the border pictures off of Tab’s website.

Journaling: May 20, 2005 – The day had finally come! We had been waiting and hoping and wishing for this day for over a year, when we first set our eyes on this tiny “tent on wheels” called the T@b. We had looked at several websites trying to decide if this was the right camper for us, and sure enough, it was! The best deal we found was at an RV dealership in Santa Fe, New Mexico, so we piled ourselves into the Escape (Tess included, of course!) one early Friday morning (conference exchange day for me, day off for Tim) and drove the 390 miles to Santa Fe to pick up our Jolt Grey T@b. It took just a few minutes to sign the documents for the loan and get inside our camper, and about an hour for the mechanics to add a few things to our Escape so we would be able to tow our camper and we were off once again! The ride home was interesting. We had read about how people’s heads turn as you drive past them on the interstate, and were they ever right! There were quite a few rubbernecks looking at us as we drove back to Denver. We pulled into our house around 9:30 PM, got a quick nights’ sleep, and were off for our first camping trip!
