First and for most I'd like to thank Gabrielle for the inspiration for this layout!! I love her work!! This is the second challenge for my group, ***Memories to Last~~COF/Critique~~Group***. We had to do a layout on a family member, I chose my mom. I lost my mom when I was seven to leukemia. And when I read this poem I knew it was going to be my journaling for my page!! I did the flourishes by hand.
Journaling reads: A Daughter's Sorrow
There could never be another, who could take the place of my Mother. A smile that always shone so bright like a star that passed through the night. It was very hard to say goodbye when it was time to let you fly. Your life ended oh too soon. A star you are up with the moon. And to me you never did any wrongs, you always sang and wrote your songs. My heart was broken by your death and to this day I will never forget. I miss you and will remember you forever, until the day we can fly together.
