Give a Cheer
Pictures from my trip to Israel in 2011. Journaling reads "Then we headed into the Old City through the Joppa Gate. We wandered through the Jerusalem Marketplace and explored the various shops and the unique wares they were selling. From hand-carved olive wood pieces and Jewish religious items to aromatic spices and colorful textiles, the marketplace was a beautiful place to experience."
I used Sketch 1 from the March Page Maps Challenge as my inspiration but toned down the amount of papers and embellishments because of my large busy photo collage. The collage is from Kerri Bradford Designs. I added sequins for the March Four Categories Challenge. They dressed up the page and the colors and shine of them reminded me of the marketplace.
