Last year my brother's dog was sick and he was old too. He and my sister-in-law thought they would eventually have to put him to sleep. Unexpected my sister-in-law died last September, and shortly after, Mato had to be put to sleep, which left my brother all alone. (He has one grown daughter that doesn't live at home). It was a devastating time for him. The death of his wife was unbearable. I have made a tribute to his wife, and now I have made this tribute to his dog. He loved this dog. They got Mato in Japan, later brought him to States, and then to Germany, where he died. I am going to mail the layout to him tomorrow.
Yes, that is REALLY Mt. Fuji in the background.
Journaling reads: We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. M. Acklam.
Also: In loving memory of Mato-San, who gave it all. Sayonara, my friend.
