Me and DH at the wedding of our first born. I great day to remember and honor with a simple and easy layout. The paper is black with white doodling so I punched some leaves out of metallic paper, folded them in half lengthwise to give them a 3D look and added glue on the fold so the pieces could be clustered over the leaf shapes on the laurel piece. I did a hand chain stitch up the stem center with some metallic embroidery floss then lightly sanded the paper to reveal the white core and adding a few gems from the kit to finish the look.
