This is so pretty, love the colors and the picture is great! I love how you used the package from the prima flowers for your picture!!! Pretty clever!!
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I, too, would like to know how to distress the edges like that. When you do it, it looks absolutely perfect for the "look" of the layout. I'm afraid if I tried it, first of all I'd ruin a perfectly good piece of paper, and secondly, it would look like I just tried to tear up paper! Is there a trick to it? Whatever it is, the entire layout is superb! I need to go look up that Swirlydoo flower tutorial, too. The gajillion packaged flowers I have in my stash just aren't going to be enough!!
this is so lovely! perfect papers and colors for the photo! love the scalloped journaling block! You are a master at those heritage flowers! and they look fabulous! love the texture, design and dimension of this! fave for sure!!!
I was going to add to my comments on your last lo-"What only one page today" and BAM, another pops up! LOL! This is another beauty, you talented woman!!
My grandma and uncle in the mountains above Cedar City, my mom's home town and the place where I was born and went to college both before and after my first marriage, so it really is my mountain home as well as my grandmothers and moms.
The lovely pps are KC. I hand cut the bird from one of the papers and made the heritage flowers from matching pps as well using the Swirlydoos tutorial. I used 2 colors of pkging from prima flowers since they both matched so well, along with 1 of the flowers. I also stamped flowers on matching pps. The journaling note is MM and the leaves are silhouette die cuts.
