This LO is for a couple challenges: " A Dark Heart" by Forevervampress and my challenge, "DarkLoveStory" Challenge. My theme of choice is Hamlet and Ophelia, from William Shakespeare's " Hamlet"
Background:
Ophelia's and Hamlet's love for each other in the beginning was very real.
Ophelia starts off in a healthy state of mind, in love with her boyfriend Hamlet. Following the death of his father, Hamlet falls in love with Ophelia, and he is much attracted by her beauty. Ophelia's father demands that she tell Hamlet at once that she can no longer be with Hamlet, regardless if she really loves Hamlet or not. Ophelia encounters several troubling experiences involving Hamlet which cause her to become distressed. Near the end, the death of her father leaves Ophelia mentally unstable and in a state of madness that eventually leads her to drowning death. Hamlet is actually away from Denmark when Ophelia dies. At Ophelia's funeral, Hamlet jumps into her grave and shouts, "I loved Ophelia!"Hamlet is left without his love.
Here is the journaling in the exploded area in the right-hand corner:
Ophelia's know your every woe
And pain you'd ever had
She'd sympathize
And dry your eyes
And help you to forget...

Ophelia's mind went wandering
You'd wonder where she'd gone
Through secret doors
Down corridors
She'd wander them alone
All alone...

I created this layout using this months kit from Scraps of Darkness "Telltale Heart"
This is the most amazing kit that I have ever used. It is full of stunning papers and the embellishments are just so awesome. http://www.scrapsofdarkness.com
This also used for the Jean's Art Dolls Dt weekly challenge. DT:http://iboard.jeansartdolls.com/index.php?showtopic=12276&st=0&p=68762&
I used a new technique Burning TYVEK. TYVEK is the soft durable plastic material used for making plastic envelopes. I plan to get a tutorial posted with the next week or so. Such a cool technique-if you love grundge and highly distressed LOs.
