Wow, great creativity here. I like how you used the leaves and rafia in the making of the scarecrow. Cutting up the puzzle pieces is great idea. The center 'crow' embellishment is great. Ok, so the picture is perfect for what you created here..nice job.
first off.. what a cute picture, that expression is priceless! Love how you made the scarecrow and incorporated so many of the bits into him. I thought the title was made of patterned paper until I read your description... great effect.
For the Oct Scrappack Challenge where we are only allowed to use what is sent to us (besides pics, paper, ink and journaling).
Items and uses: 1 yd gold wire - Behind center leaf 8" guaze -Used to paint the paper used for the Title 4 fall leaves - Large one in center, two med used for scarecrow arms, one small used for scarecrow hat. Natural raffia - used for scarecrow feet, hands, collar 8x10 green corduroy - Used as scarecrow overalls and behind title. 4 wiggle eyes - Inked black and glued to vellum to look like brads 2 white pipe cleaners - used behind scarecrow to keep head up as well as inked and cut up to make "VS" and "2008" brown paper lunch bag - It is behind the scarecrow hat to keep the leaf a little more sturdy. Also used to cut out crow in center which I then inked. Vellum - Below pics, with the opponents stats. stick chalk - Tried to weather the scarecrow's pants up a bit and drew the feathers and eye on the crow in the center. 1 yd twine - Scarecrow hair and belt. 4 puzzle pieces - cut up and placed under center leaf and in four corners of lo.
