This layout is for the October Scrap Pack. The following is how I used the content of the pack:

* 8” guaze: Painted gold and bronze and used as mat behind wedding photo.
* 4 Fall Leaves: Edges painted gold, some darkened with Distress ink and used around photo mat.
* Natural Rafia: Created Rafia bow to underscore photo
* 1 yd twine: Wrapped around Rafia and tied off with a bow.
* 8x10 Green Corduroy: Mat for vellum oval and Mat for completed Puzzle frame at bottom right.
* 4 wiggle eyes: Painted and used as centers for 4 of the flowers.
* 2 white pipe cleaners: Inked with 3 different distress inks and then twisted. Used for the “holder” of the Puzzle frame at lower right.
* Brown paper lunch bag: Painted 4 flowers and punched/painted 4 more flowers, layered and then decorated with paint. Created little fountain sprays around the bottom right Puzzle frame (inked with Distress ink)
* 1 yd gold wire: wrapped in a curly fashion and made the centers of my two paper bag fountain sprays in lower right hand corner.
* Vellum: used to write Bible verse and wedding date (scroll was doodled with ink pen – it is not stamped).
*Stick Chalk: Shaved a pile of chalk and then glued it to the center of two of my flowers. Then I inked it with distress ink, so the center of the flowers would have a bumpy look. I also used to highlight the black centers of two flowers and highlight the petals.
* 4 Puzzle Pieces: Glued to the back of the wedding photo, then cut out to represent the hard times of the beginning of my parents marriage.

Oval Tag: What God has joined together, let man not separate. October 3, 1970

Hidden journaling:

Your journey to 38 years of marriage has not been an easy road. When you first got married in 1970, you both determined that you could make the puzzle pieces of your life fit together the way you wanted. What you got in return was a “broken puzzle” with the pieces all messed up. So many things you tried to make those pieces fit and yet there were still “holes.”

As the years went along, the Lord became the “holder” of your marriage. He turned the pieces, fixed the edges and painted the worn spots. He carefully put your pieces back together and now look at you two. You just had to finally realize who the “puzzle maker” was.
