I am a fan of quotes, and collect them. One of my favorite quotes from the time I was in high school is included on this LO...I want my dd to know how much this concept means to me, and hopefully she will come to know the truth in these words. R.W.Emerson~ What lies behind us, and what lies before us, Are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. "Success", as measured by the world, is meaningless if one is shallow, callus, without empathy, and self-centered. My dd is so beautiful inside and out, and I want her to stay true to this!
I added crochet trim (thanks La Sunshine), caramel & brown buttons, used a hole punch on the matting, and printed the quote on vellum. TFL :-)
