This is absolutely lovely and creative. Great mix of colors and papers. Love your handmade flowers. Your daughter's gown is to die for. You did a beautiful job with it and how meaningful and special it must have been to her.
what a beautiful lo!! And wow on the handmade wedding!! Not only did you save $ on the dress, but you created a keepsake that is now forever Priceless!!
Pamela, this is FANTASTIC!!!! Fabulous job on the ribbon flowers and quilled rose!!! I love your mini flowers too!!! As for the pic, brilliant job on the wedding gown, it's stunning!!!! Both you and your DD have a gorgeous shade of red hair!!
To save on the budget... I made my daughter's wedding gown, the veil, her cascade boquet, along with the ceremony flowers. The gown is silk satin, underlined in silk organza and lined in silk also. It cost 1/5 of the gown she chose at Saks. Fifteen friends pitched in to make 22 centerpices for the reception filled with 50 gorgeous black magic roses and fillers, and all other flowers for the wedding party. The groom's mother and I took a wedding floral class together, and just went from there with the help of friends.
There are three handmade flowers here - the ribbon flower, the quilled rose, and the 5-point white flowers with green centers. For May Do-It-Yourself challenge.
