Another photo my sister sent me of my paternal grandmother,Ethel. My dad was born in 1922,so I believe this was taken before she married.Probably taken around 1915-16?Anyway,she looked so sweet and thoughtful, and having never seen her before receiving these pix,I guess I wanted to make up for it somehow. So I tried to make this page as pretty and lady-like as I could.
I used Prima pps,of which I can't remember the name,as my MIL shared her tablet with me.I distressed and inked the background pp and "sheet music" pp.Matted and framed the photo.Used antique lace and buttons.Prima hydrangea blossoms from asst collections. The old faux pearls I took apart a few lo's ago were used as the flower centers.(I couldn't wait to put this up,so the glue is still kinda visible!Sorry!)I used Prima's "say it with crystals" along the one side of the frame. The ivy leaves are from the wedding dept of Hobby Lobby. They were a bit TOO green,so I inked them to give them a little more of a muted tone. The "dreams" key is from Tim Holtz. This lo came together pretty quickly,But I'm so pleased with the results! Thanks so much for looking!~Grace
