I did this lo for a friend who wanted to give this to her niece as a gift.
The story behind the dime & Title is...
This young lady (Katie) I believe she is 16 now. Well when she was young. she was deathly ill and Everyone thought she was gonna a die a man that didn't know the family walked up to them and gave them a dime telling them to hang on to the dime and look in to it. Its there answer to her recovery not getting it at first they just kinda
thought he was odd. But later realized reading the words in God we trust. That was the answer. She recovered fine.

The portrait of Catherine Hargrove holding Katie was an emotional day.
Just becoming married and moving away,
Pam gave birth to you months later.
I held you with tears flowing down my face.
Knowing I would not get the priviledge of watching you
grow daily into the lady that we are all helping you become.

While you were still very young you became deathly ill.
All we knew to do was pray and pray hard and we did.
With all our prayers, angels hovered around you, and
God sent us an angel with a very special message,
"In God We Trust."

God has given you a second chance in life.
You have so much physical talent and leadership qualities,
trust God to allow Him to use you as He sees fit.

One day you will realize how much you are truly loved,
not only by God but your entire family.
