Love your lo! The pic is adorable - the lace looks very cute with these papers. I think the monogram idea is fun, but it seems like it could overpower the lo a bit - maybe a fairly small monogram (like some rubon MM letters) on a small blitzen tag? I'm wondering what very small letters (ala the ex-small Doodlebug size, maybe in black or red) would do for a title. Maybe "little red" down the left side of the photo and "riding hood" underneath it? Just a thought, but I agree that it's great as is!
Wow, great pp and I love the lace around the photo and in the knot on the tag! I love the rub-on on the pic :) I think that makes a great title and you should leave it just how it is!
OH MY GOSH! This is LOVELY!!!! I LOVE that pp and gosh darn it now I want some. I KNEW I should have bought some way back when!!! (When dh had a job, rofl!) Seriously, that is so perfect! Love the way you put the rubon on the pics. *knocks forhead* Why have I never thought of that before??! This is going in my favs for sure and now I'm off to look at your other work!
Super! I think a Monogram R that overlaps the pic with red riding hood coming off of it Using the monogram as the first letter of both with a ? mark accenting it would be cute. I think that you may need to rearange your accent tag from the blitzen paper though. I'm thinkin' a horizontal strip of ribbon traveling accross the paper under the picture to incorporate the tag with would lay upon a vertical strip of ribbon that would stretch from where you already have it placed down the page and under the circle "sugar and spice" label. Then the title could inconspicuously overlap that vertical strip of ribbon. I hope that makes sense. I Love how you matted the photo with the lace...I agree it is a great compliment to the paper. I'll bet that IRL the sanding on the pic looks fabulous too! Wonderful!!!!
This page definitely needs a title - but what a GREAT JOB you've done with it! I LOVE that you are trying new techniques, and I think they worked out wonderfully. I love the sanding on the matting and the pic, I think it adds just the right amount of "distressed" look to match the background paper. The lace looks wonderful too. For the title, maybe write (or use rub-on letters) above the pic to write "little" in a script type font, then a big huge R (could slightly overlap the upper right of the pic) perhaps a chipboard one (painted?) with a smaller "e" and "d" chipboard letters running to slightly overlap the top of the ribbon running to the tag. Good luck!
Another gorgeous page! I love the lace around the pic, especially the little knot of lace to accent that. Good luck with the title, be sure to show us the finished product
I love everything about this!! I think the tag looks great, and of course, I want, want, want some of that Blitzen. The lace underneath the photo is such a wonderful idea. Not sure how to do the title or the monogram though. I bet Danielle or Senora X might have an idea. They are experts at that sort of thing. Fantastic pic, and an awesome page!!
Ok. This picture has been sitting in my 'pictures to scrap' folder forever. I adore it. I was waiting for the right pp.. and obviously it couldn't get any better than Blitzen, right?! In an unbelievable first for me.. I scrapped both this and "groovy" on the same day! I have never scrapped that fast before.. guess I'm out of my rut! I used wholly cow rubons. On the small tag it's hard to see there's a rubon.. cause it's silvery. I'm wising I would have put a solid color on there first, but I didn't. I used a few new techniques for me here.. I sanded the cardstock on my matting to distress it to match the pp. I also sanded the photo a bit, but that doesn't show much. I used lace around the photo. Dont' know how much it shows, but it looks so great with the 'lacey look' of the paisley paper. (In my humble opinion, lol) I'd like to somehow add a title, using a monogram. Let me know how you think this could be accomplished, plus I'd like suggestions for a title too!! Thanks for your help ladies!
