Wow! I'm impressed you remembered all the songs. When I was at the concert last month I thought of you and how you did these layouts but I couldn't remember what songs went with what pictures! of course mine didn't have costume changes so that might make the difference.
Wow! You did get some amazing photos! great job on grouping the songs and giving them their own title (of the song she was performing) Awesome memories -was this Cassie's first concert?
Great page, and i've seriously never seen anyone get such fab photos from a concert, rock on! BTW.... I actually like Miley.. she's finding her identity right now, but her voice is very powerful.
This is a really good 2 page lo and you got some wonderful pics. I'm sure your daughter will appreciate your hard work. I like the music notes on the page.
You are the queen of getting lots and lots of photos on a double. I bow to you, your highness. Amazing work. How you were able to break the photos into four groups and even title them is incredible. Your sharpie idea is very clever. May I use it? Wonderful LO!!!!
This is my second LO of what will probably be several from the October 10, 2009 Miley Cyrus concert at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. I got a ton of good pictures at that show, and these pages are ultimately for my dd who suggested doing a LO per song. LOL I don't think I'll divide them up quite that much, but there will most likely be 10 or so more LO's. The first LO was photos from before the show and ticket stubs, etc. This one is for my photos from the first 4 songs of the concert. I designed the LO with 4 sections so that photos from each song are grouped together with the title of the song. All of the photos are mine except the one of Miley dancing on the scaffolding in the Start All Over section. I didn't have any shots of that so I got that one off of Wikipedia.
This is my example for my May Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Die Cutting. The twist is to make both shape and font die cuts for the LO. My shape is the music staff across the center of the right side - I used a Sizzlets die in my Cuttlebug. I cut the title and all of the song titles with the Hannah Montana cart on my Cricut.
This is for: 1) May Music Challenge - Artist. I used lyrics from the opening number 'Breakout' for my title and journaling and included 'Miley' as though it were a quote: Let the Party Start we're gonna stay out gonna break some hearts we're gonna dance till the dance floor falls apart ~ Miley The twist is to have a prominently featured number on the page - I have a 7 in the song title '7 Things' in the upper right corner.
2) VLB Challenge - Party Time. I used the title 'Let the Party Start'
I didn't have room to mat the photos, so I outlined them with a Sharpie to give them a nice crisp edge. I doodled on all the song titles with Stardust pens. TFL
