Taos Sunrise ~~Nuts About Sketches~~

We went hot air ballooning while we were in Taos last August.

The driver picked us up at the hotel at 5:00 so we could be on the ridge before sun up. Something about the air currents coming down from the mountain. I don't understand it, but if you want to go up in a balloon, you have to be at this particular spot at this particular time.

Luckily for ME, I'm a "before the sun is up anyway" kind of gal, and this wasn't really a hardship. Besides, how else could I have gotten this photograph?
