Last week, my friend Vanessa and I ran to Lowes to pick up some vertical blinds that I'd ordered for my guest room. While we were there, we made a quick stop at Starbucks because - well, Vanessa. Riley was with us (of course - he's always with me...) and Vanessa said, "I'm going to get him a Puppuccino. I'd never heard of one, but she insisted it was a thing, so I went along.

I rolled down the truck windows, told Riley to stay, and we went inside. And while we waited, he waited. He's not a particularly patient sort, but he IS obedient - at least as far as the letter of the law goes.

And he LOVED the puppuccino, which turned out to be whipped cream in a cup. I'm pretty sure he's now added Starbucks to the list of places that a dog can get a sympathetic treat. He's already well known at Sonic, the bank, McDonalds, and the filling station where he gets a treat every time we pull up to the drive through windows. Believe me - if there is food of any kind involved, this dog is ON it.

I did this little project with my Ugly Papers from Debby for the Ugly Papers Challenge, which is massive amounts of fun. Basically, you dig out the two ugliest papers you can find in your stash and you send them to your assigned buddy. Then you promptly forget you were so mean. A few days later you get a package in the mail. You get really excited because - well, mail! And you open it and you find two of the ugliest papers you've ever seen. And you have to create a layout with them. It's mind bending, but it's loads of creative fun.

I grouped my ugly papers with this layout so you can see what I had to start out with. You're allowed to use anything else you have in your stash, and you don't have to use the whole sheets of each paper - but you have to use at least part of it and both of them have to be obviously visible on your final project. It's very brain stretching.

And I also did a Scraplift Your Faves, so I'll enter it there too. I lifted NicholeNowosad's Summer Fun, which you can see here:

I didn't do a lot of fuss and bother - I mean, the papers were pretty awful, but I had enough stash to make them behave at least as well as a middle school boy, but not much better.
