I love the soft colors and the added softness of the flowers is fantastic! How amazing is it to add a real piece of someone in a layout too. Instead of it sitting in a drawer somewhere its displayed so nicely for everyone to see!

A picture of my mother-in-law (none could ask for any better),
Oh! the trials of scrapbooking! Vertical alphas are still in need of polishing. Also, this is my first ever using bling swirls...another art form I didn't realize existed until now. And then, of course, the art of scanning...I'll never get that right with bulky flowers.
I also had a long debate with the center of the large flower...I wanted to just use the white rose off the piece of costume jewelry...but it was hers, and such a lovely piece, I couldn't tear it apart, so I used it whole.
Old buttons, handmadepaper.us rose buds.
Worked on rescanning this morning...a little better...
