SHCG: Cute Dora LO. I like all the stickers around the LO. I agree the picture gets a bit lost in the LO, either a double or triple mat might help draw more attention to it. I really like seeing the handwritten journaling....the personal touch. Great job Brian.
SHCG: Cute Dora layout! The quote is great and I like the little boxed grid with all of the stckers. The only thng here is that the picture really just blends into the background too much and I think maybe you should add a larger photo matt behind it (maybe in blue?) That would help it to stand out more.
SHCG: Cute lil' ones. Using a white cs bg is a good idea to make the white borders of those stickers seemingly disappear. Not sure if you ran out of that color, but I still like how the orange strip breaks into a blue one. I might have taken some of the stickers, especially the butterfly and star ones, to make photo corners for the upper left and bottom right of the photo, which I'd also like to see enlarged. I like the way your handwriting looks as your title and quote, which I love, btw, but I'd move it to the right so that it begins after the vertical light pink strip. Maybe even put a sticker where the quote begins so that your relocated stickers could form a visual triangle that stands apart from the bg stickers. Cool how you placed the photo over the title block. My Dora Girls would make for a good title for the page. Neat idea to make your own bg pp out of these stickers.
SHCG - Absolutely adorable pics & LO, Brian! The grid w/ the fun Dora images is excellent. Fabulous quote too, love it. I like how you handwrote all the text. I'd like to see elements that give the pic a bit more emphasis, because the pic has to compete w/ all the lively colors & little pictures. Maybe triple matte the photo. Or, to contrast w/ the grid, perhaps frame it w/ a curvy matte. But this is already a very cute & pretty nod to your Dora gals. Loveliness!
SHCG: Great use of the stickers! I like how you used the strips to create the squares. Strip journalling works perfectly, but I would have let the strip run farther to the right, so the strip spans almost the entire page. I keep looking for something to be there on the pick after the strip ends.
Very fun page Brian!
