As an avid scrap booker I obviously have a love of pictures but this love also carries on to the items that take those pictures. You got it, Iím a camera fanatic! Now I will agree that the fancy new 52 Megapixel digital camera with 48X zoom that fits in the palm of your hand is amazing but I am really drawn more towards the various antique models of camera. Thereís something about the many shapes, how some look like boxes while others fold up into their own little cases, which really piques my collectorís interest. The models shown in this layout are ones that I have either picked up at local auctions or found at various antique shops during our travels. Some were free, one I had to pay $30 for, but all are so interesting and unique that I just had to have them. I even found an old motion picture camera in a tiny shop in Jamesport, MO that is my favorite in the collection. I have no idea if any of them are rare or have any kind of significant monetary value but these things donít matter at all; they are extremely special to me. I plan on attending some photography classes to learn more about the intricacies of picture taking and maybe even get one of my collection pieces snapping pictures again. If my cameras never work again though Iím still happy because they look amazing sitting on my showcase shelf.
