this layout is for a cj i'm currently participating in..the topic was "under the sea"
i wrote a poem from a fish's point of view
House of Glass
Here i am in my house of glass
Swimming 'round and 'round as people pass
I see them stop and stare awhile
Some clap and point, and some just smile
I wonder what they come to see
In my house of glass, could it be me?
My pretty scales of colored hue
Sometimes i'm purple, sometimes i'm blue
Perhaps they come to see me swim
It's awesome how i move my fins
I can swim fast, or I can swim slow
Why THEY have no fins, i'll never know
Hey! that's what it is! Now i see,
They're here because they envy me!
Being a fish is a glorious thing
Knowing the heaven that swimming can bring
Too bad, I think, as the people pass
They'll never live in my house of glass
* the "A" stands for aquarium
