Journaling: This has been a tough year for Daniel. He's had to face a lot of obstacles and heartache for such a young man. I wish I could make it easier for him, but, at the same time, I know these trials will make him stronger, more capable, better equipped to face the hardship that is life. He sometimes wonders if he'll break, but, I know he has the fortitude to make it through. I tell him from time to time that I'm proud of him, but I don't know if he believes it. But, sweet child, I'm always proud of you, and I'm always glad that you are a child of mine. Nobody's gonna kill your dreams.... Love you, Mom
