Daniel: Daniel must have been around 6 to 8 mths in this picture. it makes me smile because of the rolls you can see in his arms and those chubby legs! he was such a cute baby, and his cheeks got pinched everywhere we went. most people mistook him for a girl even though i usually dressed him in blue. this was also a time when daniel started having a personality and could interact with the people around him.
Thomas: I'm a picky person and usually throw away pictures that are blurry or out of focus. this picture is a big exception. i don't know how old thomas was, what the occasion was, or who took the picture. all i know is that it has always been a favorite of mine. i love everything about the eyes. that shy look, the smile that's apparent even though you can't see it, those wonderful stars shining in them. even though i have other pictures of thomas, clear, beautiful pictures, this one captures my baby's soul so well, it's perfectly clear to me.
James: Look at the pure joy on that face! the smile so wide that his eyes are all but non-existent. he never minded having his picture taken, and would pose for me without complaint. that was james throughout his toddler-hood. i remember him as a cooperative, engaging, loving, boy. this picture epitomizes that stage in his life and makes me smile every time i see it.
