I did this layout last night for the Negative Space Challenge that my friend BarbG is doing this month. I {{rarely}} do a layout with so much open space and so it is definitely a challenge for me. All papers are from MME. The big scallops I made using a 2" circle as my template. Then I punched the stripe piece with a MS punch, cut a thin strip of the red paper and layered it on top of the striped paper. Then added a little doodling on the thin red strip and the big scallops. The words are cut with the Silhouette - all one piece. I thought that turned out kinda cool. I made the photo corner from half of a square -- just trimmed it down with my scissors. The flowers are punched and I added a little doodling and a tiny bling to each flower. The beads on the scalloped are called Robin's Eggs and are half beads. It took all my will power to STOP at this point. So...I guess it's finished! LOL!

Photo is of DGC, Adam and Katie, when they were on vacation in the Smoky Mountains in 2007.

Thanks so much for stopping by! :D
